How long will it really take?
Guess how long a task will take, then time it. After a few tasks you'll see how far off your guesses usually are, so the next plan starts from your real numbers.

Knowing how long isn't the same as starting.
If the task is clear and the time is planned but you still can't begin, describe it to Resistaa and get one realistic first step.
Get unstuckQuestions
- Why are my time estimates always wrong?
- Almost everyone underestimates how long tasks take; researchers call it the planning fallacy. With ADHD the gap is often wider, because time can be harder to feel as it passes. Guessing harder doesn't fix it. Measuring does.
- Why not just double every estimate?
- Because your gap is your own. Some people are off by a third, others by three times, and it changes with the kind of task. The factor here is the middle value of your last ten timed tasks, so one forgotten timer doesn't skew it.
- Is anything sent or saved on a server?
- No. Your tasks, guesses and times are stored only in this browser. Clearing the history or your browser data removes them.
- Is this a test for ADHD?
- No. It doesn't diagnose anything. It's a practical tool for planning with time blindness, whether or not you have a diagnosis.
